Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 20, 2026 • Published by [COMPANY NAME]

Please review these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using DiffVet (“the Service”), operated by [COMPANY NAME] (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing the website, authenticating through GitHub, connecting to our hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, or installing our GitHub App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

DiffVet provides automated, advisory business-risk reviews and architectural analysis for software changes. The Service operates through:

  • Interactive web-based code inspections available at /check;
  • A hosted MCP endpoint enabling tools (such as business_risk_review, explain_change, scenario_questions, risk_tests, flow_check, pre_deploy_checklist, and security_audit) inside compatible AI assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, Windsurf); and
  • An advisory GitHub App that delivers risk findings as comments on pull requests.

2. Accounts and Authentication

You must authenticate using a valid GitHub account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account session and any secret API keys generated through your dashboard. You must immediately notify us at [CONTACT EMAIL] if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account or credentials.

3. Subscriptions, Metering & Payment

DiffVet offers both Free and Pro subscription plans. All tool invocations (web checks, editor MCP tool calls, and automated GitHub PR reviews) draw from one unified monthly usage meter:

  • Free Plan: Includes 20 checks per calendar month across web checks and GitHub PR reviews.
  • Pro Plan: Billed at $15 per month, offering 2,000 checks per calendar month, hosted MCP editor integrations, private API key management, and priority support.

Subscription billing is processed via our third-party merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy). Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled prior to the end of the active billing cycle.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you must not:

  • Submit code or diffs that you do not have authorization or rights to audit;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disable, or circumvent the Service’s security boundaries, usage limits, or plan controls;
  • Use DiffVet to transmit malicious code, malware, or software designed to compromise third-party systems; or
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute direct access to DiffVet MCP endpoints without written permission.

5. No Warranty on AI Output

DiffVet is an advisory verification aid and does not replace human software engineering, QA testing, or code review. The analysis, questions, test recommendations, and risk scores generated by DiffVet rely on probabilistic third-party large language model (LLM) providers (including the Google Gemini API). Automated secret masking and code checks are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed to catch every credential format, bug, or vulnerability.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DIFFVET WILL DETECT EVERY BUG, SECURITY VULNERABILITY, OR FINANCIAL RISK IN YOUR CODEBASE. YOU REMAIN SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING AND TESTING CODE PRIOR TO DEPLOYING IT TO PRODUCTION.
